LeMP — Logistics e-Marketplace: India’s National Freight Platform is Now Free for Transporters
The Government of India, through ULIP (Unified Logistics Interface Platform) under the PM GatiShakti initiative, has launched LeMP — the Logistics e-Marketplace. It is the country’s first national digital freight marketplace, free for all transporters and small fleet owners to register and use.
What is LeMP?
LeMP (Logistics e-Marketplace) is a government-built platform under NICDC and ULIP that connects transporters directly with freight demand — from private companies, exporters, importers, and government agencies — without brokers or middlemen.
Launched in May 2026 under the PM GatiShakti initiative, LeMP is the first of three free digital tools announced for India’s transporter community.
What Transporters Get on LeMP
Why Register Early?
LeMP’s search algorithm surfaces transporters based on their activity and profile completeness. Early registrations get a visibility advantage in freight searches — meaning your trucks appear first when a shipper searches for capacity on your route.
Your competitors will register. The question is whether you get there first.
Who Launched LeMP?
LeMP is launched by ULIP (Unified Logistics Interface Platform), operated by NICDC (National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation) under the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan. It is backed by NLDS (National Logistics Data Services).
This is a Government of India initiative — not a private platform. Registration is free and will remain free.
